Who is Accidental Artistry?

Accidental Artistry is created by me, Tamara. I chose the name in honor of the founder of the art, a muralist from Mexico named David Siquieros. He was so fascinated in how paint layered itself and the patterns it made as it was stretched and manipulated that he partnered with several scientists in an effort to explain it. Today, we know this process is due to paint densities and fluid dynamics, but Siquieros simply referred to his art at the time as his “accidental paintings”.

Outside of my studio, I am an adventurer, traveler, and photographer. Acrylic pouring is the first fine art I have adored making on my own, and I am excited to share it all with you.
