What do I pour on?

What kinds of materials does acrylic pouring art work best? Just about anything! My favorite things to use include:

  • art canvases (square and round),

  • MDF wooden rounds (several sizes),

  • tiles (4’’+ 6” mainly, but other sizes as well),

  • as well as other items- including 3D objects such as Christmas ornaments and glassware!

In addition, when the paint dries on a tile it is able to be peeled off- the result is called a “skin”. Skins can be used to make many things, but my favorite is jewelry and accessories.

There is so much more than can be done- I’ll update this journey as I try new projects!
